Ruo Chen

Ruo joined LMFM in 2024. Ruo is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of investments for LMFM. Prior to joining LMFM, Ruo was at L+M Development Partners as an Asset Management Associate, managing a portfolio of around 5,500 units of affordable, preservation, and market rate assets. Earlier in her career, Ruo worked as an Asset Manager at Omni NY, managing LIHTC and Section 8 properties in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Omni NY, Ruo worked at Carthage Advisors as a Financial Analyst, where her hybrid role allowed her to gain experience in both asset management and development. Ruo earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Piano Performance from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
